Jimmy Wang Yu (王羽) is one of the pioneering legends of Shaw Brothers kung fu cinema, best known for his role in The One-Armed Swordsman (独臂刀, 1967) — the film that launched the golden age of Hong Kong martial arts movies. Before Bruce Lee, Wang Yu was the face of Hong Kong action cinema, and his Shaw Brothers films remain essential viewing for any serious collector of classic Chinese cinema.
This rare out-of-print 6x VCD set collects some of his most iconic Shaw Brothers titles in original Video CD format — a format that is rapidly disappearing from the collector market. Complete sets in this condition are exceptionally hard to find.
